Abstract
This is how "geniuses at complicating things" are born.
They misinterpret simple conversations and make them complicated, sulk if they're not praised, get bogged down in trivial matters and prevent the conversation from progressing, and while saying "someone like me" they secretly want to be reassured...
Why do these people tire out others? This book dissects the mechanisms of "annoying people" that are rampant in society, from the workplace to neighborhoods and relatives, from a psychological perspective. Why do things get complicated when that person is involved? We delve into the psychological mechanisms of 10 types of "annoying people"!
- People who cause a big fuss over trivial matters and involve everyone around them
- People who find fault with others' achievements or try to win arguments in meetings
- People who, although they don't seem to have any malicious intent, say things that are clearly "forbidden"
- People who repeatedly say "I'm sorry" or make a lot of unnecessary excuses
- People who immediately start condemning others, saying "That person is crazy" or "This organization is crazy"
- People who bring up procedures and compliance to stop work
- Attention-seeking bosses who sulk and say "I wasn't told" if their subordinates don't report, contact, or consult with them
- People who act overly cautious, but secretly expect others to be considerate of them
- People who talk for so long that it's hard to tell where the preamble ends and the main point begins
- People who like to take charge in neighborhood associations or apartment building residents' associations and are still disliked even after retirement
