Author’s Information

Professor, Faculty of Business Administration, Osaka University of Economics. Graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Tokyo, with a Bachelor of Laws degree. Completed the Master's program in Economics at the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Economics, with a Master of Economics degree. Obtained a PhD in Economics from the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Economics, with a PhD in Economics. After holding full-time and part-time positions as researcher, assistant, and associate professor at the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business, the University of Tokyo's Graduate School of Mathematical Sciences, the Australian National University's Crawford School, the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology College of Business, and Khon Kaen University's Business School, she returned to Japan at the end of 2023 and assumed the position of Professor of Finance, Faculty of Business Administration, Osaka University of Economics. Since 2017, she has also served as a Research Fellow (part-time) at the Kobe University Institute for Economics and Business Administration. She is a member of the American Finance Association, the European Finance Association, and the Australian Economic Association.
