Author’s Information
He graduated from Sophia University's Faculty of Letters and completed graduate studies at New York University. In 1996, he joined Nikkei Business Publications, Inc. He has held positions in the Nikkei Business editorial department, the New York bureau, the securities department of the Nikkei editorial bureau, deputy editor-in-chief of Nikkei Business, head of the cross-media editorial department, editor-in-chief of the Nikkei Business online edition, and head of the legal department, before becoming assistant head of the management media unit and editorial board member. As a reporter for Nikkei Business, he covered fields such as automobiles, IT, and retail. He has individually interviewed Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, and Microsoft founder Bill Gates, and has written feature articles on each of them. His book is titled "Genius Reading: 100 Books Selected by Musk, Bezos, and Gates, Who Built the World's Richest Lives."
