Abstract

Hideto Suzuki is an illustrator who has been active at the forefront since the 1980s, depicting motifs related to cars, architectural landscapes, and music in a pop style. Recently, there has been a revival boom in 80s culture, and Japanese pop music from this era in particular has become popular both domestically and internationally, called "city pop." EIZIN's works, which have appeared on the covers of FM magazines and on many music jackets, are attracting attention again as icons of the era. This book is a selection of works from all eras that evoke the "good old days," such as old townscapes, seaside resort landscapes, and classic cars that he loved. The wide landscape format allows you to view the works without them getting in the way of your spine.
